Usb blaster quartus
As you can see, it seems the Altera USB-Blaster is OK. Ive got the latest Quartus Prime Lite 15.1 and still have the same problem with the drivers. Since upgrading to Win 10 I get blue screens when trying to use the Blaster. I previously used Quartus II Web Edition 14 on my desktop Win 7 with my clone USB Blaster without issue. USB-Blaster does not recognize the problem when using Altera Quartus II synthesis tools downloaded to the FPGA, Programmer Sought, the best programmer. The first things to do is to check the drivers: T.1.1-The command dmesg show some status of the several device drivers running on the machine. Quartus / USB Blaster / Windows 10 blue screen of death.

Back on the Win7 computer I tried using the command prompt to open altera\11.2sp2\quartus\bin\jtagconfig.exe and saw it read out the message "No JTAG hardware available". The usb-blaster seem to be recognized in quartus as USB-Blaster variant 2-2. In troubleshooting, I also tried installing the same version of Quartus II and the USB blaster on my Win10 laptop, but the driver isn't signed for win10 so I dropped that approach. Due to a problem in Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition version 18.1, the USB Blaster/USB Blaster II driver cannot be installed when using the Windows operating system.
